More Details: My (now) husband and I are from upstate New York near the Finger Lakes area. When we saw Dennis Vineyards we fell in love because it reminded us so much of home. The venue was so beautiful that it didn’t need a lot of decoration, which we appreciated because we were on a budget. Also, the Dennis family is amazing to work with and the planning/day of the wedding could not have gone any smoother.
Many of our family and friends were coming from out of town, so our main goal with the wedding was to show them how much we loved and appreciated them making the trip to celebrate our day with us. We wanted the location to be easy to find, the food to be yummy, and the music to be off the chain. We wanted everyone to relax and simply enjoy themselves. All of our guests, including my husband and I, thought the caterer we hired was amazing. I would recommend Family Catering to anyone who asks.
Overall, the best thing about our wedding was how stress-free it was. My husband and I agree that the day couldn’t have gone smoother and we were touched to find that our family and friends had decked out our hotel room with roses, snacks, movies, and more to help us unwind from the wonderful day.
My dress was Julia designed by Maggie Sottero. I loved how detailed the dress was and how it fit my curves. The fabric looked so light and it flowed beautifully, which was important to me because I had a summer wedding and wanted the dress to fit the season. Also, it was a mermaid style, but cut above the knee, so I could still dance freely. It was my dress because it encompassed my personality and style perfectly.
