More Details: I feel like every bride thinks they had the most amazing wedding. I certainly do. I wanted to have a romantic wedding, where everyone was comfortable and having fun. I wanted an “organic” feel to our day. I didn’t want anything to be too matchy-matchy. My bridesmaids all wore different dresses that were varying shades of pink/nude. I let them pick their own dresses because I wanted them to show their own personal style.

My wedding dress was from New York Bride & Groom. It was a Lillian West and was the second dress I tried on. Every one after it was just anticlimactic. I probably only tried on a total of 8 or 9. I knew that I wanted the Lillian West dress. The detachable tulle skirt, which was romantic and airy, was totally my style. And the fact that the skirt was detachable made it perfect for the reception. When the party started, I took it off and had the more fitted, fun flirty dress underneath. I basically got two dresses in one.

For the ceremony, I wore a beautiful cathedral-length veil. When we had our first kiss it fell off and everyone laughed. A lot of brides would have been mortified, but I actually enjoyed it. It lightened the mood and made things more spontaneous and less “perfect.”

My wedding photographer Nicole was a dream, and captured moments that I wouldn’t have remembered without her. The weather was perfect — just like the entire day was too. I want to relive it again (which is probably why I watch our wedding video way too much — LOL).
