  I loved this place! I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for but Sarah was an absolute gem to help me figure it out. I looked through all of the dresses and she helped pick out some for me that she thought I would like. She helped me narrow down my choices and ultimately find THE ONE. Thank you Sarah!
Im also pregnant so I was a little worried about finding something I would like, but Sarah helped me to understand how sizing would work. When I bought the dress, the wedding was only about 2 months away so I was worried about it being ready in time. Having alterations done there was a tremendous help!

  I had the pleasure of visiting NYB&G for my first bridal appointment and was initially kind of nervous because I didn’t exactly know what I wanted, however, Kiera (sorry if I butchered your name) helped me find my exact style!! She was very observant to my thoughts and feelings on every style. Although I did find my ‘one’ at another store, I would recommend this store to anyone!!   I’m a plus size bride (size 24), and I was also late to start dress shopping—I had no idea how long it could actually take to get a dress in, and my wedding is only three months away! 😬 What I thought was going to be an incredibly stressful experience ended up being so much fun and surprisingly easy, all thanks to the amazing staff here.

My stylist, Sarah, was absolutely incredible. She has the BEST eye for style and immediately knew how to help me find a dress that not only looked beautiful, but made me feel great and complimented my body. She was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable about all of the dresses and options available in the store.

Sarah also went above and beyond to help arrange rush shipping for my dress. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and willing to work with me to make sure my dress could be ready in time for my wedding. I truly cannot thank them enough for making what could have been a very stressful experience such a positive and exciting one.

  My experience at New York Bride and Groom was phenomenal! This was my first stop for dress shopping and I spent 4 hours there trying on all different types of dresses until finding the one. Raven was so very friendly and knowledgeable and knew how to make me feel comfortable and narrow down my style when I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for walking into the store! Sara was also a tremendous help throughout our time there, knowing just which way to go based on my answers/feelings about other dresses. I would recommend this place ten times over to anyone needing to find the perfect dress. I never once felt rushed and they were very invested in making sure the final dress was really the one!

  I went to New York Bride and Groom to look for my wedding dress, I walked in on a Saturday and was able to easily get a fitting room. The room had plenty of room for guests. I was paired with Brooke, who helped me find plenty of dresses to try on. She listened to what I liked and didn’t. She was able to get me a variety of dresses to try on. She was very enthusiastic and sweet. I ended up finding my dream dress on my first visit! Everyone at the store was professional and sweet. Sarah also checked me out and helped me order the dress. She was also helpful and knowledgeable. Overall it was a great experience and I didn’t have to go to 10 stops to find the dress. I’d highly recommend this store for your wedding dress needs

+ Do I need an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

No appointment is needed at New York Bride & Groom of Charlotte — walk in any time we're open and a stylist will help you that day. We've built our name on walk-in bridal shopping. If you would rather hold a set time, a private 90-minute Personal Appointment is available Tuesday through Friday, and the Say Yes Experience reserves the store privately on Sundays. Both can be booked on this site or by calling your local New York Bride.

+ Where are you located and what are your hours?

New York Bride & Groom of Charlotte is at 4618 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28209, open Tuesday through Thursday 11am to 7pm and Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday. Sundays are reserved for the Say Yes Experience — a private booking with the store closed to everyone else. During open hours no appointment is needed; walk in any time.

New York Bride & Groom of Charlotte is a walk-in bridal store with over 1,000 gowns, private suites, and a gong to ring when you say yes. We keep it relaxed and pressure-free — no appointment needed, and nobody rushing you toward a decision. The Say Yes Experience reserves the whole store privately on a Sunday if you want the day to yourself.

+ How much do your wedding dresses cost?

Designer wedding gowns at New York Bride & Groom of Charlotte start at around $1,200 and go up to about $3,500. That range covers our full-service salons in Charlotte, Raleigh and Columbia. If your budget is firmer, our Last Look outlets carry designer gowns from $249.

+ Is Last Look part of New York Bride?

Yes — New York Bride Last Look is the outlet side of the New York Bride family, run by the same people, with designer gowns at 50–75% off retail. Same brand, same buying team, family-run since 1994. The salons are the full-service experience where you special-order your gown; Last Look is where designer samples go.
