More Details: We wanted a relaxed, fun wedding. I have always loved sunflowers and knew that I wanted them as my focal point. I decided on purple bridesmaid dresses to complement the flowers. Our centerpieces were lanterns with flowers inside them to create a romantic look. While waiting to walk down the aisle one of the bridesmaid dresses broke! The top button which kept the zipper up, snapped seconds before she had to walk down the aisle. Thankfully the wedding coordinators leaped into action and managed to hold the dress together.
We gave the guests bubbles to blow as we walked out after the ceremony, which made the wedding even more special. The music was perfect and all the guests joined us in dancing the night away! The rain held off until after we left the reception. My family from Switzerland came for the big day and made it even more special. Our love for sweet things had us create a candy bar that guests devoured. Chocolate was the first thing to go, followed by the gummy bears. Since the wedding party consisted of my siblings and best friend, as well as my husband’s best friend, the wedding was nothing but fun! The venue was gorgeous and easy to work with. It was all-inclusive which made planning infinitely easier. I simply told them what I was thinking and wanting for the wedding and they made it happen. I would not change a thing about the ceremony or the venue we chose.
My dress was by Allure Bridals. I never expected to walk away with an A-line dress, but once I put it on, I couldn’t take it off! The glitter on the dress was incredible, it went all the way down the skirt which was incredible. Not to mention that the figure the dress gave me was to die for! My personality is a little showy and out there and this dress was me incarnate. I loved the way I felt in it, and it was comfortable. I could sit and I was able to dance the night away in it.
