More Details: We chose the theme of a traditional Southern wedding. We had a full Catholic ceremony followed by a reception on the 18th green at Patriots Point overlooking the Charleston Harbor. Even though we had a February wedding, we had a gorgeous 74-degree day to enjoy all the beauty Charleston and Mount Pleasant have to offer. We really enjoyed the live music from Emerald Empire Band, the food from Relish Distinctive Catering and the photos by Cana Dunlap Photography. I especially love the pictures of my mom and I getting ready in our NYB&G dresses. Everything was so special and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. My favorite single moment was at the end of the reception. We had the band ask everyone to go outside for the farewell, which allowed my husband and I to share the last dance to Beyonce’s “XO” with just us on the dance floor.
I chose my dress because I wanted a dramatic back. It also had to be form-fitting to show off the booty. Plus, I wanted to be able to dance all night. The crepe was an amazing material that offered everything I wanted. I loved everything about this dress.
